אלהים

Elohim ( Hebrew) - From Strongs Notes : gods or godesses in the ordinary sense but specifically used of the Supreme {Encompassing} God, in the King James often angels {or better angels in unity with the Lord God of Hosts}.

‘Is it not written in your law, "I said Ye are Elohim"’ ( John 10:34)

(rectified words of Jesus quoting Psalm 82:6).

‘They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness:

all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are Elohim

and all of you are children of the most High (Psalm 82:5-6).

‘In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth’ (Genesis 1:1).

(The word ‘God’ restored to the Hebrew original)
